The National Federation of the Blind (NFB) produces several publications regarding blindness issues, activities, and concerns.  Select one of our publications below to learn more about the blindness and the NFB. 


Braille Monitor The Braille Monitor is the leading publication of the National Federation of the Blind (NFB). It is produced monthly and is available in large print, in Braille, on cassette tape, or in e-mail formats.
Future Reflections A magazine for parents and teachers published quarterly which covers issues about and resources for blind children and students, birth to college age.   
GemState Milestones Newsletter published 3 times a year by the NFB of Idaho
Julie and Brandon – Our Blind Friends An activity book, published by the National Federation of the Blind of Idaho, for elementary school age children on the topic of blindness. 
Voice of the Diabetic This timely, quarterly publication discusses medical and social aspects of diabetes, and its control, diet, and research on the subject. 
The Kernel Books A collection of books published yearly by the NFB containing intriguing and thought provoking short stories about blindness, written by the blind.
